A report by insurance company AAMI shows only one Ford, the 1999 Falcon, made the top 15 in a list of theft claims.
The 1999 Holden Commodore, however, accounted for 150 insurance claims and topped the list.
More broadly, Commodores of all makes and models made up 62 per cent of vehicles stolen from the insurer's clients last year.
