First Home Buyer Grant Starts Phasing Out

Commonwealth Treasury has issued a statement saying that first home buyers wanting The change of advice came after Treasury officials looked at the selection criteria for the grants and realised first home buyers must have the ability to occupy the property by the September 30 deadline, not merely intend to occupy.

Property experts don’t think the glitch should cause too many problems, as most buyers should have their purchasing decisions well advanced.
